What Makes Celebrity Match Different?

I'm sure there are a lot of great agencies that think they can get you the right celebrity for your brand, but we've found that many just can't come up with the right match the way we can.

Not All Celebrities are Created Equal

Depending on your market we might find that the celebrity you wanted actually doesn't work.

Finding that out will ultimately save you big time because the wrong match is an expensive mistake to make.

You will find from working with us that we have strict criteria that we work with to find your match.

Our proprietary Celebrity Match technology uses a huge set of data points, but one of the most important is "Engagement Potential."

Engagement potential is a measurement of a celebrities true reach.  Some celebrities have a huge social media engagement potential, for example, whereas others have higher engagement potential for infomercials, television or web commercials.

The bottom line is that Celebrity Match looks at your market (and its' rockstars), what medium your target market responds to, the PCROI (Potential Celebrity Return on Investment) as well as the type of media your market responds to.

  • Celebrity Engagement Potential

    Through our proprietary Celebrity Match technology we score potential celebrity matches based on their engagement potential.

    For example, we know on average how many likes, clicks, and shares they get on various social media outlets based on various markets. We can then estimate the outcome of a campaign with your potential matches.

  • Market

    As part of this we do an exhaustive amount of research on your market and the avatar of your perfect customer.  For example, you might think a particular celebrity is perfect for your market and our initial research might show they have engagement potential, but a further look may reveal  engagement demographic would be off for your target market and so we would recommend not using that celebrity as the likelihood for failure would be high.

  • Level 1 Match

    From these two things, engagement potential and industry match, we then create a short list of potential celebrities who would be a good fit for your product or service.

    We then go over with you these results, your expectations, budget, etc. and decide which celebrity or celebrities we will start negotiations with.

  • Optimized Offer

    Now this is a big one.  In most cases when this is done correctly, a single Instagram picture (from someone with a huge following and engagement rating) can send so much traffic to a business that it breaks their server. In some cases, this causes no sales. This is not the fault of the celebrity or the match.  It’s the offer or the website. Don’t worry though, we will run your site through our 28 point quality checklist and if you need to change some things, we’ll tell you what to change or recommend someone to make the changes for you.

  • PCROI

    The combination of all these things equal Potential Celebrity Return on Investment. With campaigns like celebrity Tweets or Instagram posts, most of our clients see about half of their investment returned within 48 hours of when the post is live. They then leverage the Tweet or Instagram photo to use for paid advertising, their website, etc.

  • Campaign

    Now here’s where the fun begins.  Once we have all those things in place, your campaign runs.
